Hi all, this time I come bearing photos from my recent vacation in NC. Had a lot of fun this year too, not that I don't every other year but this year I left my boy at home and went to visit my best friend all by myself. And had an awesome time. We visited a couple of places I'd always wanted to go to but never mentioned as we usually were busy with all the kids (my one and her two). Anyway, we hit Orton Plantations which was absolutely beautiful and also took a tour of Bald Head Island.

I do admit that I'm not a photographer by any means but I like taking pictures of landscapes, especially those involving cool trees and/or beautiful gardens. I have an extremely black thumb, so since I can't grow the pretty flowers I have to take pictures of them instead.

Anyhow, over the next week or so I'll be uploading pics from both places so stay tuned. Due to satellite internet I have to do it slowly to avoid exceeding my allotted quota. I hate satellite internet.
